       柔美(香港)科技有限公司是一家基于发光半导体量子棒新型纳米材料转化运用的高科技初创企业我们的目标是将显示器和通用照明应用的LED产品效率提高一倍。现代显示器效率低,同时消耗大量能源。比方说,香港在2020年消耗了超过158,000太焦耳的电能其中300-600焦耳的能量通过视觉显示器消耗相当于550-1100千吨的二氧化碳排放量而这仅来自视觉显示器,不包括其他支持配套电子元件。脱碳是当前全球性的重要议题之一,欧盟、中国大陆、香港等地已经在修订包括显示器在内的照明产品法规。在香港行政长官的年度致辞中,脱碳是成为香港政府的主要议程。

       在香港,电力生产占温室气体排放量的三分之二。香港政府的目标是到2035年将碳排放量减少50%,届时中电和香港电力等公用事业公司将需要停止使用煤炭发电。然而,行政长官在2021年的一份政策报告中也提到"这并非无法实现",并进一步表示,商业建筑需要将使用量减少30%40%,住宅建筑需要减少20%30%。为了实现这一里程碑我们必须考虑所有因素并降低显示器的功耗。欧盟也有同样的关注,对显示和照明产品功耗标准进行了修订。

       Roumei在设计称为量子棒(QRs)的新材料方面具有垄断地位。这些纳米材料的独特性质具有更高的热稳定性,固态的高量子效率,全可见光范围内的调谐波长(颜色)双向耦合效率偏振发射和低重吸收。因此, 这些下变频量子棒可以提高现代LED的效率和色彩饱和度,用于显示器和一般照明产品。
